Tour - Original School Bell
The original bell and flagpole were first located on the eastern side of the classrooms. The bell post became infested with white ants. It was moved farther from the buildings in the 1920s, and reinstalled toward the Assembly Hall. In the 1940’s the bell post was moved near to the large gum tree, which had seats around the base, where children ate their lunch in the shade. The original bell was re-located in the primary quadrangle in the 1970s. The school now functions with an electronic bell.
