The school operates on a four term year with vacations at Easter (two weeks), July (two weeks), September/October (two weeks) and December/January (five weeks). Vacation dates are published in the School Newsletter in accordance with State vacations.
Regular school attendance is important for students. The school needs to be notified of any planned extended absences. Written parental explanations are required for all absences. It is not necessary to telephone the office to signify a short absence. A written note to the class is required to the class teacher when the student returns to school.
Should it be necessary to take your child/children out of the school during the day, they may be collected from their classroom or the “sick bay”. Before departure, parents must sign the “Student Early Departures Book” at the front office. |
